A digital mental health hub will be co-produced with web developers and the Young People’s Team at Croydon Drop In. The website will provide supportive guidance and advice on how to navigate being a young person in Croydon.
This project offers a safe and empowering way for local young people to support their peers. It aims to provide participants with a sense of achievement and purpose in helping others, both of which are recognised ways to improve wellbeing.
Working alongside web developers, young people will take an active role in shaping the design and function of the website. They will also be responsible for developing the copy and resources, including written word, graphics and video. The site will feature interactive tools to support the development of resilience and self-worth.
At the end of the 12 months, the final product will be a safe and trusted platform where young people can confidently access instant support through signposting to trusted service providers.
